Website #7

Readwritethink is an excellent source for both teachers, students, and parents. For the classroom, the site provides lesson plans created by other teachers on a variety of topics ranging from K-5th grade. Along with the lesson plans, you can choose different games to play on the computer to reinforce the lessons. Additionally, printable worksheets are available to be used as assemeent tools or guides to help the students organize their thoughts. For extra help at home, the site provides podcasts that suggest different books to read with your child, computer games that get students engaged in learning, and activity sheets that allow parents to become their child's supplimentary teacher outside the classroom. I think the main goal of Readwritethink is to provide assistance for teachers, parents, and students in order to incorporate fun in learning.
