KidLit gives children a chance to see other kids' writing published on the internet and inspires them to start writing and submit their own work. You could use this in the classroom as a project for each student to work on by themselves or as a collaborative classroom project. Submissions can be from students all the way up to 12th grade. Using this site, students have a chance to peer edit other students' work and learn form each other. I think the main goal of KidLit is to make writing fun and provide a sense of accomplish for the work they have done.
