The website CanTeach is an excellent resource for Elementary and Language Arts teachers. This website includes writing prompts, lists of books by theme, compostions activities, games for beginning readers, and lesson plans for all grades. This site can be used in the classroom as a resource for the teacher to impliment different activities into his or her lesson plans to reinforce objectives. The activities on this website incourage studnets to do self examinations and use what they already know to gain further knowledge on a variety of topics. I think the main goal of this website is to provide the teacher with fun and interactive activities that enrich a student's understanding of Language Arts topics.
